At The Simple Stores we want you to feel absolutely comfortable with every aspect of your online shopping experience. After all, we shop online too! We know that how and when an order will ship is of extremely high importance to you. That is why The Simple Stores partners with many of the best delivery companies nationwide. We carefully pair each product on our site with an appropriate delivery company to ensure the best experience for our customers.

Once your order ships, we will notify you via email of this status update, along with any available shipment tracking information. While we provide our customers with an estimated time in which an order will ship and be delivered, at the time an order is placed, please keep in mind that these dates - while usually quite accurate - are estimates, not actual delivery dates.

Inspecting Your Delivery for Damage

When you sign for delivery, if you notice any holes, tears, or even wrinkles in the outer packaging, please write "Product Damaged" clearly on the form the delivery agent asks you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any damage, resolving the issue may be done so quickly and simply. Though we recommend accepting your delivery, if the package looks like an elephant has jumped on it (ie. has significant visible damage), you may refuse delivery. If a shipment is refused, please notify us immediately so that we can work to have new unit sent to you right away!

How will my order ship?

Shipping Methods Each product on The Simple Stores has a particular shipping method associated with it so we can provide our customers with the most efficient delivery. The Simple Stores partners with only the best carriers across the country.

Small Parcel Delivery
For Small Parcel shipments within the United States, delivery usually takes between 1 and 6 business days (except for USPS which ships in 1-10 business days) after your order is picked up from the warehouse. For expedited services such as 3-day, 2nd Day or Next Day Air, your order's travel time is locked in to the given speed you select after the item leaves the warehouse. You should remember that the estimated Lead Time still applies before the item ships out. Be sure to consult the product's Lead Time before you order with expedited shipping, and call us if you have any questions or concerns.

Curbside & Doorstep Delivery
For Truck Freight shipments, delivery usually takes between 3 and 6 days from when your order ships. For residential deliveries, you will be contacted for an appointment as soon as your order arrives at the local terminal. For commercial deliveries, no appointment will be made. If you need to make one, please contact us.

White Glove: Room of Choice, Room of Choice with Unpacking
For White Glove shipments, delivery usually takes between 1 and 4 weeks from the time the items leave the warehouse. Your order will travel through a nationwide network of professional moving companies who will handle your item(s) with the utmost care. You will be contacted for a delivery appointment when your order reaches the delivery agent. Although the items are handled carefully throughout transit, we require that our orders undergo a thorough inspection at the delivery agent before delivery. We take extra steps to make sure your item is delivered in perfect condition.

Shipping Service Levels

Small Parcel
A Small Parcel shipment means that an item will be delivered by UPS, FEDEX, or USPS. Several shipping upgrade options are available at an additional charge; you may select your shipping upgrade during checkout if desired or contact our customer service representatives for assistance.

Though no adult signature is required for deliveries, please note that the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the delivery person. If you desire an item left at your doorstep, the best practice is to leave a note on your door asking the driver to leave your package with "No Signature Required." Be sure to include your name and tracking number on this note.

Curbside Delivery
Due to the weight and/or size of a product it may be delivered to you via Truck Freight. Curbside Delivery means that once your order arrives in your area, a representative from the carrier’s company will call you to arrange a 4-hour window for delivery. At the time of delivery you MUST inspect your package. If the product has any damage, or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" clearly on the sheet that they ask you to sign. Signing for the delivery as “PRODUCT DAMAGED” is critical, as it insures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem.

If you are ordering a very large item, please keep in mind that you may need a assistance to move the item inside. Alternatively, most truck freight companies offer additional services to help you move items from the truck into your house. Once we email you the tracking information you can contact the shipper directly to inquire about additional services. You would be responsible for directly paying the truck freight carrier for any additional services.

Doorstep Delivery
Doorstep Delivery means that the item(s) will be unloaded off the delivery truck and delivered to the First Dry Area or Garage only. Doorstep Delivery does NOT include delivery up or over any steps, stairs, or obstacles. If you require a delivery that includes stairs, please contact our staff so that we may assist in coordinating that additional service.

Inside Delivery with Stairs provides inside the threshold of your residence. Product will be left in a front entrance, mudroom, or garage. If you live in an apartment building or condo, the product will be carried up two flights of stairs from the building threshold (4-15 steps = 1 flight). If you need the product moved up additional flights, please contact us. The product will be left in the original packaging.

Room of Choice Delivery
Room of Choice Delivery provides delivery to the room of choice within your residence. This service includes carrying the product up two flights of stairs from the building threshold (4-15 steps = 1 flight). If you need the product moved up additional flights, please contact us. The product will be left in its original packaging.

Room of Choice with Unpacking
Room of Choice with Unpacking provides delivery to the room of choice in your residence. This service includes carrying the product up two flights of stairs from the building threshold (4-15 steps = 1 flight). Once the product is in the room you desire, the shipper will unpack the product and provide basic setup that requires no tools (i.e. will set pieces next to each other, or on top of each other). The shipper will also remove and dispose of all packaging if requested. We recommend retaining your packaging to make easier the process of returning on order. If you need the product moved up additional flights please contact us.

In all cases the shipper will not connect, assemble or install any electrical or component wires. Having items carried up more than two-flights of steps and longer assembly periods are available for an additional fee. Please contact us if you feel you need these services.

Room of Choice, Setup, Debris Removal
Room of Choice, Setup, Debris Removal provides delivery to the room of choice inside your residence. This service includes carrying the product up two flights of stairs from the building threshold (4-15 steps = 1 flight). Once the product is in the room you desire, the shipper will unpack the product and provide light setup that requires basic tools (i.e. pieces will be screwed or bolted together, set pieces next to each other, or on top of each other). The shipper will also remove and dispose of all packaging if requested. We recommend retaining your packaging to make easier the process of returning on order. If you need the product moved up additional flights please contact us.

When will I receive my order?

Every product on our site has an estimated Lead Time - the number of business days it takes for an item to be processed and prepared for shipment at the warehouse. To provide you with the greatest selection on the internet, we ship from warehouses all over the country. Each lead time varies based on many different factors. Some warehouses stock items that can be shipped the same day or within 24 hours. Others items require a longer time (e.g. 2-4 weeks). Each product page on our site includes the estimated Lead Time, "Ships in ________ ," to give you an idea how quickly your order will leave the warehouse.

Free Shipping The Simple Stores offers free shipping on nearly all of our products. We do this to keep your shopping experience easy to understand. The price you see is the price you will pay. Please be aware that many other websites will not disclose your total order cost until much later in the checkout process. We at The Simple Stores want you to know exactly what you will be buying and how much you will be paying from the moment you begin shopping with us. Please be aware that if you decide to return your purchase to us, we will refund to you the entire purchase price excluding any shipping and handling fees which The Simple Dining Room Store accrued during your order fulfillment.
